Yesterday evening we spent a happy couple of hours watching the female Hen Harrier hunting over Llanrhidian Marsh on Gower. I tried to get a couple of photographs which were largely unsuccessful when I suddenly remembered the video function on my camera. I switched it on and took a few clips that you can watch below. Despite the low light levels and lack of a tri-pod the results have come out pretty well. The point at which a car drives past shows just how accessible and close these birds are at the moment. I am picking up my new car tomorrow so will be back down later in the week to try and get some more video footage and attempt some photographs once again.
