Remember, Remember the 5th of November

I find fireworks are best enjoyed gratis and around here you don't get a much wider view than that offered from Penclawdd. Below are just a few of the long exposure shots I took from there tonight. More could undoubtedly have been produced but have you felt how cold it is outside? Absolutely nobbling.

V: It is to Madame Justice that I dedicate this concerto, in honour of the holiday that she seems to have taken from these parts, and in recognition of the impostor that stands in her stead. Tell me Evey, do you know what day it is?

Evey Hammond: Um, November the 4th.

V: [midnight church bells ring] Not anymore. Remember, remember the 5th of November. The gunpowder treason and plot. I know of no reason why the gunpowder treason should ever be forgot.

V for Vendetta - a must watch film at this time of year and one of my all time favourites

  1. In 2011, I tried a few fireworks shots with my Sony compact - quite liked the results in an abstract pattern way
